Google AdWords – I had my last click

I guess Google AdWords is definitely not for me “yet”.

Last week I decided to experiment using Google AdWords as an advertising tool for my business.

Whether there was something wrong with my settings in AdWords or maybe my basic and simple Word Press template; something definitely did not click.

In a period of one week I only had 28 clicks and spent $57.00. I received a single phone call which ended up being cancelled 15 minutes later.

Having a full time job during the day makes it extremely hard for someone like me to be able to answer phone calls during the day.

For now I decided to suspend my campaign but I will definitely experiment again in the future. My future approach will be to trigger AdWords during weekdays (only after regular working hours) and during the weekend.

If you are planning on using AdWords, make sure that you are available to respond to incoming calls immediately. Customers hate leaving voice messages and will simply move forward to the next one on their list.

Here is a quick overview on results provided by Google which shows the “Keywords” that resulted in clicks for my website.
